For LJ comm theatrical_muse - 437. Do you keep to a routine?

437. Do you keep to a routine?

As far as the job allows it, yes. Obviously there are days when situations and circumstances make it impossible, but on the days when it doesn't, a routine can be a good thing.

Part of my routine is much easier where I live now -- no more sharing the communal bathroom down the hall or having to go to a gym to do any more extensive workouts than stretches.

Now, once I wake up and deal with necessities, I head upstairs for a full workout -- everything from stretches and some yoga (gotta stay flexible in my line of work, believe me) to weights and a few rounds with the heavy bag. Three days a week I go for a run, too -- though there are times when I have to be very cautious choosing my route. Of course a t-shirt and sweatpants help there, since most of the folks trying to track me are still stuck on the whole 'guy in a suit' thing.

After the run and/or workout, I shower and dress for the day. Sometimes I make breakfast, but most of the time I pick up something on the way to the Library, along with a coffee for me and sometimes a tea for Finch.

Once I get there and get filled in on the latest Number, that's usually the point in the day where routine goes right out the window.

*no response but one arched brow before Finch swivels back to look at his myriad computers*

[ooc: haha, aww, flatterer! I was looking through the posts and going, oh, man, finch can't answer THAT one, he shouldn't know about that yet, etc etc. amusing.

I think I already asked you this but refresh my poor memory-- do you have/use AIM?]

*without ever taking his eyes off his screens*

I'm told patience is a virtue, Mr. Reese.

Don't you have, oh, I don't know, an arsenal of illicit weaponry to maintain and polish? If you're so dreadfully bored I'm certain I can find something for you to do.

*Finch ignores Reese's amusement, spine as straight as ever, back of his head to the ex-agent as he tabs between screens filled with rows of numbers*

You'd probably best. My solution was going to be tasking you with removing the spiderwebs from the higher corners of the library's rooms.

*possible liptwitch*

Canaries-- and most other small birds-- are not in the habit of letting spiders live. But since you're advocating for a reprieve...

Mmn. Chicken tikka masala if you happen to be passing any decent Indian places. ...if you don't mind.

Mmhm.

...Be safe, Mr. Reese. *tiny nod as Reese exits*

[OOC: I imagine Harold as such a neat freak, lol. But at the same time HOW DO YOU KEEP THAT LIBRARY CLEAN, FINCH, IT'S HUGE AND YOU ARE BUT ONE MAN.]
